She was always there, always twitting him, picking at him. Her presence was always unnerving. Yesterday, she made him think things he shouldn't think, things he had tried not to think now that he had new responsibilties to consider.

Faiz wasn't a good guy before. But i noticed, he has changed when she came into his life. He told me he was stressed out, frustrated, his knees almost giving out. Damn it, why did she have that effect on him?

And her reason was, they did not understand each other. When on the day itself, they went to have nice breakfast etc. You know, like the usual things they do. An odd combination i hadn't experience.

The carnality in her gaze made him wonder if their basic natures might mesh. But then, he might have totally misread her. His voice was teemed with emotions on the phone. Bewildered and floundering - a situation he didn't like one bit. Without really thinking about it, i tried to advise and crack some jokes for him. heh. He laughed and laughed until i found myself really stupid then i stopped. Thankfully, he is doing fine now after the 5 hours talk on the phone. Phew.

Innit unbelievable? Faiz's ex-gf is actually my cousin. What a small world after all.
